New to driving? Optimus School of Motoring offers friendly, step-by-step beginners automatic driving lessons in Basingstoke and nearby areas (Hook, Oakley, Ramsdell, Bramley). We’ll start at your pace and focus on building confidence, control, and safe habits from the first lesson. You’ll learn cockpit drill, moving off and stopping smoothly, steering control, mirrors and signals, dealing with junctions and roundabouts, and how to stay calm in real traffic.

If you haven’t driven for a while or want to feel more confident on the road, Optimus School of Motoring offers automatic refresher lessons that are tailored to what you need most—whether that’s roundabouts, busy junctions, parking, dual carriageways, or driving in heavier traffic. We’ll go at your pace, rebuild confidence quickly, and focus on safe, relaxed driving with clear goals each lesson.

Build confidence at higher speeds with automatic motorway driving lessons. These lessons focus on real-world motorway skills such as joining safely via slip roads, lane discipline, safe following distances, overtaking, reading signs and road markings, and handling busy traffic. We’ll also cover planning ahead, staying calm, and what to do in common situations like roadworks and variable speed limits. Lessons are tailored to your experience and delivered at your pace.
